Nighttime temperatures are getting down into the low 40s at the CTRS campsite, and residents didn’t have the cold-weather gear they needed. Village for Vets distributed 118 blankets and 30 warm knit caps, and gloves, to help keep the veterans sheltering at CTRS warm and safe. This was made possible by the generosity of a wonderful supporter, Elisabeth Sikors, who set up a donation drive and raised over $2000 with her group of friends. These generous individuals have made it possible for us to provide this warmth for every homeless veteran living at the CTRS. Thank you Elisabeth and friends!
