Veteran Street Academy

Veteran Street Academy gets the job done when no other program can! We provide flexible and immediate response to unhoused and at-risk veterans in Los Angeles County. This program quickly addresses urgent needs when more restrictive resources are unavailable or when veterans are ineligible for federal programs. We provide:

• Emergency Fund: Providing financial assistance for urgent needs like rent, utilities, medical bills, and transportation. (link to referral and ROI)

• Rideshare Services: Offering veterans rides to transitional housing locations, unit viewings, and medical appointments (currently must be referred to by a designated VA point of contact).

• Food Box Delivery: Delivering groceries and essential supplies directly to veterans' homes. (email at info@villageforvets.org)

• Dental Clinic Services: Affordable dental care options for veterans who lack access to coverage. (link to referral form)

• Community Resources: Specialized assistance to address complex cases, including mental health services, employment help, and emergency housing.
