Rebecca Ricci

Program Director

Rebecca Ricci is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable Veterans in Los Angeles. With over 15 years of experience in community mental health, Rebecca has a proven track record of serving children, families, and Veterans through innovative, compassionate care. She earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from California State University, Northridge, and has devoted her career to helping individuals overcome significant challenges.

Rebecca began her professional journey working with children and adult survivors of sexual assault, later transitioning to support youth involved in the Juvenile Justice System and Child Protective Services. Her efforts focused on helping these individuals remain in the least restrictive environments to achieve stability and success.

Prior to joining Village for Vets, Rebecca served as the Director of Veteran Services at Step Up, where she oversaw the HUD-VASH contract with the West Los Angeles Department of Veteran Affairs. Emphasizing collaboration as a core value, Rebecca led her team in outreach and engagement efforts for homeless Veterans across Los Angeles County, guiding them through the housing process and ensuring long-term stability with intensive case management services.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rebecca’s dedication to this work is deeply personal—she is the proud daughter of a Vietnam combat Veteran, which fuels her passion for giving back to the Veteran community. Outside of her professional life, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending live music and theater events, watching movies, and traveling. Her blend of expertise, compassion, and commitment makes her an invaluable asset to the Village for Vets team.
