Village for Vets recognized by Councilwoman Traci Park

On May 24, 2023 Councilwoman Traci Park awarded Village for Vets with a certificate of recognition for “outstanding service and positively contributing to the great cultural melting pot of the city.” This certificate and being named one of her Park’s Picks is an example of our dedication to creating community and government partnerships and working toward the common goal of making Los Angeles a better place for Veterans to live, work, and thrive.

“Being recognized by one of our community leaders for our hard work is such an honor and means so much to our hardworking team.” said Executive Program Director, Rebecca Ricci. “It is crucial for everyone in the community to come together to end Veteran homelessness. It truly takes a village.”

As a Councilwoman, Park is committed to being a voice for all CD11 residents at City Hall.  She has promised that her office will be responsive to everyone in the district. In her role on the Council, she knows it’s essential to think critically, ask hard questions, evaluate data, and do what is best for the community.
