Veteran’s Easter Food Drive Serves 300 Vets in Need!

Vulnerable Veterans in Los Angeles deserve our support every day but it is especially important to serve them during special times of year like holidays. This year more than 300 Vets will have stocked pantries, hygiene items, and so much more thanks to the VA’s annual Easter Drive Thru Pantry. With the support of partner organizations like American Red Cross, Brentwood School, Westside Food Bank, UCLA, Blue Star Moms, and Boy Scouts of America parking lot 7 was turned into a celebration for Veterans and their families.

For our part, Village for Vets gave away bags full of t-shirts, hand soap, snacks, candy, hygiene kits, and sleeping bag coats. A very special thank you to everyone who made this possible including our incredible group of volunteers and staff!
