Kurt Krieser
Kurt was born in Los Angles in 1949 and grew up in Arcadia, California. He attended California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Theater Arts.
In 1970, he joined Evy of California and over the next 30 years acquired the company from its founders and partners. Kurt was the CEO and co-owner of Evy California from 1975 to 2018 when the business was sold to private equity, and is now retired. Evy of California was a $100+ million international designer and manufacturer of licensed, private label and branded girls’ and women’s apparel to Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Kohl’s and other major US retailers.
He was a past officer of the Young Presidents Organization, Los Angeles Chapter and currently a member of YPOG, City of Angels and Los Angeles Chapters and an active member of The Beach Club, and The Los Angeles Country Club.
Kurt has been married to Susie for 38 years and they are the proud parents of two adult boys, Kevin and Keith. They live in Brentwood, CA and have a second home at Lake Tahoe. He enjoys spending time skiing, golfing, motorcycling, and traveling for pleasure at every opportunity.
