David Swartz
David Swartz is a retired partner at Cohn Reznick, LLP (formerly Good Swartz Brown and Berns). He has 40 years of experience providing business advisory services to clients in several industries including manufacturing, wholesale, retail, entertainment, real estate, healthcare, and professional services. Prior to joining Cohn Reznick, David served as managing partner and was on the national Board of Directors of BDO Seidman. For 10 years, he was managing partner of their Southern California offices. David is also a former CFO of Westfield Inc., a publicly held shopping center company. He has served on the advisory boards of several companies.
Active in the community, David is past president of the Jewish big Brothers of Los Angeles and past chairman of the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging. Presently, he serves on the board of RadNet, Inc., A NASDAQ listed company, where he serves as chairman of its audit committee and Lead Director. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge. He is a member of the California Society of certified public accountants. He served two four-year terms as a gubernatorial appointee to the California Board of accountancy, a division of the California Department of consumer affairs. He is a past president of the California Board of accountancy. David is also a recipient of the distinguished service award presented by the California Society of CPAs. He has two children and two married stepchildren and two grandchildren.
