Anthony Nudson

Veteran Street Academy Director

Anthony Nudson is a dedicated U.S. Army veteran with over a decade of distinguished service across the Army, including the 82nd Airborne Division and Special Operations Civil Affairs. Anthony completed multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Central America as part of U.S. Army Special Operations, where he played a critical role in civil-military operations and strategic partnerships. Throughout his military career, he completed extensive training in Advanced Negotiations, Airborne & Air Assault, Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE), and Special Operations Civil Affairs, equipping him with the skills to operate in complex, high-stakes environments. His leadership and dedication in combat and operational environments earned him the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service.

Transitioning from military to civilian life, Anthony channeled his passion for service into veteran advocacy. As the Property Manager at VA Building 207 and later VA Building 701 on the West Los Angeles VA Campus, he collaborated closely with case management teams to provide stable housing solutions for veterans facing complex challenges. His hands-on approach in crisis intervention and resource coordination has been instrumental in supporting veterans' journeys to stability.

In his current role as Director of the Veteran Street Academy at Village for Vets, Anthony oversees critical support services for unhoused and at-risk veterans. His leadership focuses on expanding programs that offer emergency financial assistance, transportation, food security, and comprehensive case management. Anthony’s strategic vision aims to bridge service gaps and foster strong community partnerships to enhance the well-being of those who have served.
